The solo show, Out With The Old thrillingly took place at Bradley Beach Gallery Friday evening. Bradley Beach exposed this student progress and unveiled the motives that became not an end goal but a mode to facilitate a material demonstration and exploration. The focus of the show really was curiosity.

Vincent Martin came to me month ago with the hope to cook with solar panels and ceramics. He left most of the design of the ceramic dishes up to me with the exception of a few desires. I remembered a wonderful black clay body I had used months earlier that trapped heat like no other when left in the sun. So, we went for it. Still, I thought this would be a challenge and am happy it still is. We are enjoying the continuous collaboration and reworking. I am happy to announce the successful melt!

From my time at the Ox-bow residency with Anton Reijnders. This summer changed my world and allowed me to see the possibility of opening your mind to verwonderment and awe. Without the constraints of a predetermined destiny, the mind is allowed to wander.
